What better way to start the day than having breakfast with a great bunch of colleagues to share knowledge, interesting facts and great conversation.
The Silver Culture Team are putting into action the suggestions and ideas from across the business. On the subject of Christmas, there was unanimous feedback from Team Silver to use the money we might ordinarily have spent on Secret Santa gifts and instead, donate that money to a chosen charity. With Government figures showing 3,898 people sleeping rough in England on a single night in autumn 2023, up from 3,069 in autumn 2022 and 1,768 in 2010, Silver chose to support homelessness.
At today’s ‘Breakfast Bunch’ our colleague and Culture Team member Gina, spoke passionately about Centrepoint and their pursuit to end youth homelessness.
Centrepoint “Every four minutes another young person faces homelessness.” Thousands of young people will be facing homelessness alone this winter. No young person should be left struggling on freezing streets.
We are delighted that our donation will go towards supporting this amazing charity which could give a young person a stable home – often for the first time in their life. Instead of worrying about what to eat or where to sleep, they can start building their lives for the future.
