The Scheme

Silver identified this “off-market” site of just over one acre for Stoll. The site is set back from Staines Road in Bedfont, Middlesex and working closely with Stoll, the London Borough of Hounslow and the architect planning permission was achieved for a development of 36 homes.

Stoll provides housing and rehabilitative support to vulnerable and disabled ex-service men and women and is the UK’s only charity providing holistic support needed to fully integrate some of our most vulnerable veterans back into civilian life.

Silver provided Employer’s Agent and CDM Co-ordinator services for the development, which completed in July 2014, and together with 36 new homes, has communal facilities, including training room and community hall. The development is equipped with a de-centralised energy system comprising a CHP system with back up gas boilers. The building is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped Therapeutic Garden which includes a state of the art greenhouse and sheds, offering a tranquil setting for the veterans to enjoy. The development is named after Stoll’s Patron, HRH The Countess of Wessex.
